Dance United Gain life skills through arts education

Dance United is a dance education initiative launched in 2012 to conduct after-school movement workshops in New York City for students from under served communities. The workshop is designed with a focus on exploring relationship between movements and thoughts, while fostering a collaborative environment. Through group exercises and self-designed activities, students build confidence and develop e

motional and social competencies. With partnership with public schools and peer organizations, Dance United has delivered over 100 workshops to various after school programs including Free Arts New York and serves as in-house dance specialist for P.S. 63 and University Settlement.
