“When Martha told me that the border officials were not going to let us through. I was incredulous. She explain that their justification that our vehicle was too large and large vehicles must cross at an alternate border, which was like a 2 day drive away. I distinctly recall the sharp WTF moment watching lorries and busses whiz on by. I asked Martha to ask the official whether there was a ‘fee’ we could pay to get an ‘exception’. “
