In Kunduz, our Iftar distribution reached 100 returning families currently living in migrant camps as they work to rebuild their lives in Afghanistan.

We honor the women of this world and especially our mothers, sisters, and daughters who are in Afghanistan—everyday. At Read to Lead Afghanistan, we remain committed to serving communities through education and humanitarian support. We believe that when women are supported, entire communities grow stronger. We hope for this one day. In the meantime, we are on the ground as a sense of support. We’ve continued to provide humanitarian help despite the situation.

On this International Women’s Day, we stand with Afghan women and continue working toward a more peaceful and hopeful future.

Ramadan 2026 at Read To Lead Afghanistan Organization 🤲🏼

As we break our fasts surrounded by family, there are families in Afghanistan who don’t know if they’ll have enough to put on the table tonight.

Through Read to Lead Afghanistan Organization, we’re distributing Iftar food packages and sponsoring community meals as we’ve done in the past.

For $65, you can sponsor a family’s Ramadan package with essentials like rice, oil, flour, sugar, and tea — the basics that make a difference during these 30 days.

You can also sponsor a larger Iftar:
$300 feeds 100 people
$600 feeds 200 people

Each meal includes Qabeli rice, sides, dates, bread, salad, and a drink — a warm meal to break their fast.

Ramadan Kareem 🌙 Day 1

Our food and Iftar distribution has officially begun in Kabul. Today, we distributed oil, rice, flour, heaters, and firewood to 36 families who recently returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan and Iran.

May this month bring ease, warmth, and blessings to every home.
