Disc New York Welcoming and affirming of all identities, our mission is to support, promote and grow the sport of Ultimate in the metropolitan NY area.

Founded in 2011 Teach students at all levels of the public and private school systems, as well as
home schooled students, how to play ultimate, including adherence to the current
rules of the sport as endorsed by the NGO

Promote success in competition by providing support to ultimate teams active
at all levels and in all divisions of co

mpetitive play, provided those competitions
are sanctioned by the NGO or some other reputable governing body

Encourage the enjoyment of ultimate and the joy of playing by providing or
supporting those organizations that provide opportunities for casual, recreational
participation in organized, competitive and non-competitive games that are played
outside of championship series or organized leagues

Promote social responsibility among the ultimate community by encouraging
participation in and providing resources and support for charitable endeavors that
involve, promote, or support the principles of the sport of ultimate. Design and implement strategic and sustainable initiatives to identify, evaluate,
and secure the use of athletic fields and other open spaces, whether public or
private, suitable for playing disc games or competitions
