U.S. EPA is transitioning to using the term “ENERGY STAR certified home” rather than “ENERGY STAR qualified home”. This change more accurately reflects the independent inspections and testing that each home receives in earning the ENERGY STAR. EPA encourages all Partners to update their print and online materials as their schedule for updating marketing materials allows. Partners should refer to the ENERGY STAR Identity Guidelines at www.energystar.gov/logouse.
