Prelude to Performance is a six week intensive study/performance program for young aspiring opera singers which results in the performance of two full staged/costumed operas with orchestra. The Martina Arroyo Foundation's Prelude to Performance program is a 6 week intensive study/performance experience for young emerging opera singers. ng from Role Class to Stage Combat as well as Master Classes and of course music coachings and staging for the traditionally staged/costumed operas with orchestra at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College. Operas for 2017 are Bizet's, Carmen and Puccini's, Suor Angelica/ Gianni Schicchi, July 6-9 at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College.
