Immigration Law & Justice - New York The New York area site was one of the first JFON sites started in the nation.

Immigration Law & Justice New York welcomes immigrants with compassion , dignity, and love by providing free, high-quality immigration legal services to low-income and vulnerable immigrants, education, and advocacy for immigrant rights. Started in 1999 by the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), Justice For Our Neighbors (JFON) is a national network of church-based, volunteer-supported im

migration law clinics that provide free legal advice and representation to vulnerable, low-income immigrants. We currently serve clients in the New York metropolitan area at four church-based clinics:

--Chinatown, Manhattan: Chinese UMC, founded in 1999
--Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn: John Wesley UMC, founded in 1999
--Flushing, Queens: La Promesa Mission, founded in 2000.
--Long Island: Hicksville UMC, founded in 2014.

Donna came to the United States with a dream of becoming a human rights lawyer. When her visa was at risk due to a critical error, Attorney TJ Mills of ILJNY stepped in and successfully resolved the issue—ensuring that Donna could remain in the country and continue pursuing her future.
