While millions are starving because of a three year drought in South East Africa, totally ignored by the US, it feels constrained to send "advisers" to Central Africa. Since the early 'sixties, this is how we have attempted to gain hegemony over regions that in no way, except access to resources, are in any way important to the US. Just another imposition of US imperialism!

A mother should never have to endure this type of pain simply because she could not feed her child. We are in the 21st century, you are telling me we can get camera crews into AFRICA (Egypt and messages out of Egypt on Twitter after the government shuts down the Internet) but we can't get MUCH NEEDED food to the areas of Africa where people need it the most? This is terrible! Even a couple of dollars makes a HUGE difference and can save a child's life! Praying for the people in the horn of Africa...

Food is one part. Love is another part. So, the food will give them physical nutrition. The love and affection you show will give them mental nutrition.

In the early 1990s, Somalia was ravaged by famine. It is happening again, but the world isn’t as eager to step in.
