Recently the cars of some of our neighbors have been gotten into and search for valuable items. And they would like our civic to remind everyone before you go to bed each night please check to make sure your property is locked and secure.
But they could be another reason, they could also be using technology which also could lead to your car being stolen.

 Official Safety RecommendationsThe New York City Police Department (NYPD) and AAA advise drivers to use layered security measures to mitigate these digital threats:Block the Signal: Store wireless keys inside an RFID-blocking pouch (such as a Faraday bag) when at home to completely block electronic signal sniffing.Keep Distance: Do not leave keys near front doors, windows, or exterior walls where external relay antennas can reach them.Lock the OBD2 Port: Install a physical lock over your vehicle's internal OBD2 port to stop thieves from plugging in handheld reprogramming tablets.Use Low-Tech Deterrents: Deploy visible mechanical steering wheel locks or brake pedal locks. Even if a thief bypasses the wireless locks digitally, they cannot drive the vehicle away physically

Just some reminders, this heat brings a lot of problems first make sure your cars have ample gasoline. Power outages can certainly affect gas stations.
