Today, we highlight Christian “El Caballero” Aquino, Beta Lambda Fall ‘12! A member of our inaugural 40 Under 40 List, Christian is an Anesthesiology resident at Oregon Health & Science University. His professional goals include completing his Anesthesiology residency and pursuing a fellowship in Pain Medicine. He would also like to continue his career in Academic Medicine, where he aspires to become Program Director for Anesthesiology, followed by Chair of the Anesthesia Department and, ultimately, Dean of the Medical School.

As a project superintendent, he has been tasked with overseeing and making decisions related to performance of work, logistics, and quality control of a number of buildings in San Francisco. Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and The 1931 Foundation have partnered to establish the Semper Juncti Emergency Relief Fund. The Semper Juncti Emergency Relief Fund provides limited emergency financial support to current members who are unable to meet essential expenses due to a temporary or unexpected hardship. Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. will be matching donations up to $5,000. Every single dollar donated to the relief fund will be doubled up to a total of $5,000.
