🔺 SIAC WEEK IN REVIEW! 🔺

Service. Social Action. Sisterhood. ❤️

The ladies of the Staten Island Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. continue to put Service and Social Action at the forefront—making a difference through education, advocacy, and community engagement!

❤️ Health & Wellness: We hosted an impactful Crimson Table Talk focused on Black Women’s Womb Health, creating space for important conversations, awareness, and empowerment.

🌿 Community Service: On October 16th, our Sorors rolled up their sleeves for our fall Adopt-a-Highway Beautification, doing our part to keep Staten Island beautiful!

🗳️ Social Action: On October 20th, we participated in the Staten Island Unity Coalition’s 2026 Legislative Forum, staying informed, engaged, and committed to advocating for the issues that impact our community.

From meaningful conversations to hands-on service and civic engagement, SIAC continues to turn our commitment into ACTION!

❤️ Little Chapter, BIG Heart, Lasting IMPACT! ❤️

Please join us for our first Crimson Table Talk session of the 2026–2027 Sorority Year, presented by the Health and Wellness Committee of the Staten Island Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.!

“From Whispers to Wellness: A candid conversation about fibroids, incontinence & Black women's womb health"

This meaningful, candid conversation features our Chapter President, Kellyta Murphy Reives; First Vice President Wendy Artis; Health and Wellness Committee Co-Chairs Janine Browne and Kimberly Simms; and Kimberly’s courageous daughter, Zahar Simms.

Together, these women broke the silence and shared their personal experiences with women's health challenges, including fibroids, heavy menstrual bleeding, painful periods, endometriosis, and urinary incontinence.

By speaking openly about topics that are too often discussed in whispers, they remind us of the importance of awareness, education, advocacy, and supporting one another on our wellness journeys.

We invite you to watch, listen, and join the conversation!

Please LIKE, COMMENT, and SHARE this recording to help us continue these important conversations, raise awareness, and encourage more women to speak openly about their health.

Because conversations about women's health should never have to happen in whispers.
