New York City’s current ad-hoc approach to planning and land use is failing most New Yorkers. That’s why members of the Thriving Communities Coalition (TCC), are testifying at the Mayor Eric Adams Charter Commission hearing today to urge the Commission to require comprehensive planning in NYC.

✅ Equitable housing development
✅ Racial, economic & environmental justice
✅ Community-driven neighborhood planning
✅ Accountability in land use & budgeting

calls for a new, people-centered approach to ensure ALL 59 Community Districts have the resources, infrastructure, and investment they need. It’s time to break the cycle of exclusion, displacement, and inequity.

Join us in advocating for bold, systemic reform. Let’s demand a city where ALL New Yorkers can thrive!

📢 Contact the Commission today and tell them: NYC needs comprehensive planning NOW! https://buff.ly/418HfjJ

New Yorkers have long been forced into homelessness because of federal neglect. The Housing Access Voucher Program is a practical and compassionate solution to keep families housed, and it’s time for New York State to step up. We have a responsibility to protect our most vulnerable neighbors.
