It is our fervent wish that we never have to face tragedy of any type. Nevertheless, in the aftermath of the Har Nof atrocity and the terrible tragedies that preceded it, it has become abundantly clear that teachers (and parents) must be as prepared to help children with grief and loss as they are with their lesson plans. Project Innocent Heart's inaugural Philadelphia event was a resounding success. CHOP's expert on child abuse and prevention Dr. Cindy Christian, retired Judge Flora Wolf and Rabbi Milstein wowed the well fed crowd with powerful talks about how much good Innocent Heart is doing and how much more we can do to reduce the incidence of child abuse.
