We are meeting TODAY from 5-6 PM in Keating Room 104! Come by to learn how you can volunteer alongside doctors, nurses and medical staff in week-long clinics in Central American countries! Past volunteers from this summer will join us to share their experiences, and we will be announcing dates and sites for upcoming trips. WE ARE SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE:
A brand new ~online~ option is now available to register for our upcoming medical missions to Guatemala and Nicaragua!

While we will still be accepting paper applications and payments in Keating 201, this option through Pure Charity makes registering (and paying the trip's first installment) quicker and simpler than ever! Remember, the deadline for registration is April 28th - only 15 days away!

IN ADDITION, Pure Charity automatically sets up individual fundraising pages for the trip after you register! The money you raise will go towards the remaining cost of the trip, all the way up to the day of departure.

Happy Wednesday to all! Our officers will be tabling in McGinley today until 1 PM and tomorrow from 2-5 PM with APPLICATIONS available for our summer medical missions to Guatemala and Nicaragua!! Save yourself some money on printing and come visit our table to ask questions in-person and also grab some flyers! We hope to see you there :) :) :)

If you can't make it to our table this week but are still interested in applying, you can follow the links below to access the PDFs. Just a reminder that the Guatemala trip will be from July 30 - August 6, and the Nicaragua trip will be from August 13 - 20. *** There is a typo on the itinerary for the Nicaragua trip; we will be leaving and returning to a New York airport (not Detroit) for both trips.

Please submit your application in the reception area of Keating Hall Room 201 (Dean Mast's office) by April 28, 2017. There will be a basket with manila folders available for you to enclose the application and payment. You will be contacted afterwards to confirm that the ISFU E-board has received your application materials.

Today is International Women's Day! Here at International Samaritan, we are proud to support projects that help women innovate and grow. Yeshialem is one of the strong women working at a new egg production microenterprise in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, generating income away from the city dump to support her family. 🇪🇹 We are inspired by her hard work and determination. 💪🏼

Faith and Film is back this semester! Join us with ISFU (International Samaritan Fordham University Chapter) for a screening of the film "The Mission." Come to the Ignatius Room (Lower Level of the University Church) on Friday February 10th at 5:30 PM for pizza, popcorn, and a discussion following the film! Hope to see you there!!

Please remember the victims of this recent tragedy in Guatemala City, which will incidentally be the site of our upcoming medical service trip this summer. You can also visit International Samaritan's official page to read their feature on the experiences of students from St. Michael's Catholic Academy in Austin, Texas, who recently took a service trip to Granada, Nicaragua. We hope everyone had a lovely holiday break, we're looking forward to seeing you back on campus, and we hope you'll join us in everything we have planned for the spring semester! :)
