In late 2017, NewYork-Presbyterian — which operates the hospital just across the Broadway Bridge from Marble Hill — submitted an application to the state health department requesting the elimination of the 30 beds of Allen...

We’ve received word from our elected officials, Senator Robert Jackson & Assemblywoman Carmen de la Rosa, that the New York State legislative session will be continuing through today. They are advocating and voting on a crucial bill to decriminalize possession of Ma*****na and to expunge criminal records for Ma*****na related offenses and have asked to postpone the rally. As a result, we are moving the date of the rally to Thursday, July 11th at 6pm, allowing them to finish their work and support our community and these much needed services. We thank them for their efforts in reducing the reach of the carceral state and rectifying the damage the War on Drugs has done to our communities.

Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you on July 11th!
