Last week, JCCGCI was proud to celebrate our Holocaust survivors who have reached the incredible milestone of 100 years of life, strength, and resilience ๐ŸŒŸ

In partnership with The Blue Card The Blue Card and Nachas Health and Family Network Nachas Health , JCCGCI was joined by 34 Holocaust survivors for a special morning of delicious breakfast, impactful moments, and deeply meaningful connections. We are grateful for the opportunity to hear and recognize the strength and spirit of a generation whose stories must never be forgotten.

Thank you to New York City Council Speaker Julie Menin Speaker Julie Menin for her commitment to Holocaust survivors and for standing with our community. We are also grateful to New York City Comptroller Mark Levine Mark D. Levine , Assembly Nominee Vanessa Aronson Vanessa Aronson , and Eva Wyner Rosen Eva Wyner Rosen , Director of Jewish Affairs for Governor Hochul, for the kind words they shared and for the work they do for New Yorkers.

Thank you to Clarins at Bloomingdaleโ€™s CLARINS USA and Zero Point Two 0.2 for bringing gifts and luxury treatments that put a smile on survivorsโ€™ faces, and to Tiberias restaurant Tiberias for welcoming all of us and our guests so warmly.

It was a privilege to spend the morning with our survivors, and we look forward to celebrating many more milestones with them ๐Ÿฉต

At JCCGCIโ€™s Club 2600, Holocaust survivors gathered once again to share a meal, catch up with friends, and enjoy each otherโ€™s company ๐Ÿ’™

We celebrated birthdays with those who had one this month, and a few lucky winners went home with picture frames to hold their favorite memories.

Days like these are symbolic of what our organization stands for: warmth, community, and showing up for New Yorkers.

This week, our Jay Harama Older Adult Center celebrated the Autumn Moon Festival ๐ŸŒ•๐Ÿ‚

Our members came together for a wonderful afternoon of smiles, culture, and connection. The day featured delicious food and a variety of musical and dance performances, but it was also an opportunity for our community to cherish a culture and consider the meaning behind this special holiday ๐Ÿ’›

Events like this remind us that our older adult centers are not just places to attend programs, but are spaces where community and sense of belonging resonates throughout the walls.

An unforgettable Mid-Autumn Festival at our Coney Island Seaside Older Adult Center ๐Ÿฅฎ๐ŸŽค

On Tuesday, our older adult community came together for an afternoon of song, dance, and food, with incredible performances from members of our very own Coney Island Seaside Older Adult Center. The room was packed with neighbors and friends cheering on every act, and the joy was contagious.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so special for reminding us all that great things can happen when a community comes together ๐Ÿฉต
