Thanks to all who donated and supported the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 156 VA undershirt and sock Drive. We raised over $600. In donations. They will be used for our inpatient and dialysis patients at the James J. Peters Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Thank you for making a difference.

Thanks to all that made our Annual ALA 156 Poppy Fundraiser a success. Special thanks to our volunteers, and the community for their generous donations and support.
The volunteers welcomed our community with warmth and kindness. A special Shout Out to each and everyone. I couldn’t be more proud.

Hello everyone,
Today is Poppy Day !
Dawn Rosado is my Co - Chairman and We presented at P S 175 to the 4th Grade on this Special Day.
We had slides that the children read to learn about Poppy Day.

It started with Dawn reading a poppy book, to learn the origin of Poppies.

The, Handed out some games, all related to poppies.
Each child had the opportunity to read a slide. We Started with Chloe Cappello and then ten other children brave enough to read in front of the Class. They were all having fun and went home with games to put together.

Most of all, they learned and understood the meaning of the Poppy program and our Veterans passed and present.🥰❤️🙏🇺🇸
