Ores, MD in New York City, there are no share-holders and no profits. RwRp is a micro example of not for profit medical care.

Heart Attack

Last Friday I had a small heart attack. I am much better now and back at home.

It was a small infarction and there was a blocked coronary artery. Chest pain was super intense. Saturday morning I had a coronary a catheter put into my heart. (NYU Hospital). A balloon angioplasty. And a "stent" (a metal spring) left in place in my heart to keep the coronary artery open. They sent me home the next day.

I am much better now. Pain free. At home. And doing well.

The whole thing is just scary and weird.

With some extra medications and a little time, I will be good as new. Even better .... with a totally open heart artery.

In a few weeks, I'll have an update as to heart function. Right now I'm good and all is well.

Thank you to everyone for your kind thoughts, your assistance and good wishes.

All is well now.... and I am doing great. :))))
