Congratulations to Nickolos Hall of Prairie View A&M University on being named a recipient of the Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Scholarship! 🌟

A Class of 2026 Agriculture major with a minor in Business, Nickolos has demonstrated exceptional academic success, leadership, and dedication to serving his community, embodying the values and legacy of Frederick Douglass.

Established in 2018 by Tony Signore and administered by UNCF, the scholarship commemorates the 200th anniversary of Frederick Douglass’ birth and provides a $10,000 scholarship annually to two exceptional HBCU seniors.

The program recognizes students who exemplify high academic achievement, strong leadership, and a commitment to community service.

Today, UNCF pauses to reflect on the life and legacy of the legendary civil rights leader Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr.

Dr. King’s contributions emphasizing the importance of education and equity for a just society have always been consistent with the mission and values of UNCF.
MLK Day serves as a powerful reminder of Dr. King’s enduring legacy and the profound impact he had on the civil rights movement.
