The Salvation Army Bushwick Worship and Community Center serves as a beacon for individuals of all ages, backgrounds and interests. The Salvation Army offers a full range of programming in a neighborhood that painfully lacks resources and faces many challenges-including drug trafficking and a rising crime rate. At the center, residents find much needed support, whether that means a hot meal at a s

oup kitchen, affordable day care and after school supervision for children, companionship for seniors, or toys during the holidays.

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming your new Corps Officers, Captain Florette and Lieutenant Delia, as they stopped by the Corps today!

They are excited for what God has in store, looking forward to meeting each of you, and are already praying for this corps family. We know you’ll make them feel right at home as they begin this new chapter of ministry.

This past Saturday, the Bushwick Ladies enjoyed a wonderful time at the Women’s Brunch! 🌸✨ It was a beautiful opportunity to gather together, share fellowship, encourage one another, and strengthen the bonds that unite us in Christ. 💕

What a beautiful Mother’s Day Sunday at Bushwick!

Lieutenant Nastassja brought a powerful message on Jesus’ first miracle, highlighting the incredible influence and faith of a believing mother. She also presented flowers on behalf of the Corps.

We also had the joy of recognizing Alyssa as she officially became a Corps Cadet. We are so proud of her commitment and dedication to studying God’s Word and growing in her faith.

It was a wonderful day of worship, celebration, and gratitude as we honored the mothers and women who faithfully impact our lives. Happy Mother’s Day! 🌷💐🙏🏻
