Hurricane Sandy Relief Kitchen BROOKLYN RELIEF KITCHEN Along with the hot food, we have delivered much needed survival supplies for adults, children, and babies. Volunteers are always needed.

As of November 1st, Sandy Relief Kitchen has been providing hot food to disaster relief sites in the Rockaways, Far Rockaways, Gerritsen Beach, Staten Island, Coney Island, Red Hook, as well as serving evacuees housed in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. Sandy Relief Kitchen formed out of a partnership between Two Boots Brooklyn, Old First Reformed Church, Park Slope Parents, and out of the goodwil

l of members of our community. Initially, we served roughly 1500 meals a daily. We now serve roughly 2,000 - 2,500 hot meals per week. Our hours of operation are: March:
Wednesdays, we do kitchen prep from 11am-2pm. Thursdays and Fridays from 8am-3pm.

Thursdays, 8am-3pm (Drivers needed)
