Dear Ivey Alumni of New York,
It's my pleasure to announce that Sean Cameron, MBA '98 and Gabriel Kim, HBA '10 have accepted the co-Presidency of the Ivey Alumni Network New York Chapter for a 3-year term beginning February 1, 2017. Sean spent much of his career at Scotiabank and BMO and is now Principal Consultant at Broadridge. Gabriel's career spanned roles at Soc. Gen. and Osprey Capital Partners; he is currently a Director in the Real Estate Finance and Securitization group at CIBC World Markets. You can reach Sean at [email protected] and Gabriel at [email protected].
Both Sean and Gabe have been active as Chapter executives in the city for several years - they have a keen sense for how to engage alumni in the city, can bridge different alumni generations/segments and will continue to create a model of excellence for other Chapters worldwide.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as President of the New York Chapter. I've been fortunate to preside during a remarkable period in the Chapter's history; we've seen over 60% engagement growth over the last several years and I'm proud that we are consistently the most engaged Chapter globally. It has been a pleasure, personally and professionally, to get to know hundreds of New York area alumni at the events we've run the last few years.
I look forward to staying connected with New York alumni, attending future events, and supporting our Ivey Alumni Network in my continuing role leading the Global Ambassador program on the IAN Board of Directors.
Please join me in welcoming and congratulating Sean and Gabe on their new roles.
Sincerely,
Matt Busbridge, MBA '09
