Dear Friends,

Aimee here. It is with a full and grateful heart that I announce that after 5 years, I am stepping down as Managing Director of LIT. My full Goodbye letter is below.

I am forever humbled by the trust you placed in me, and while I will miss doing this work, I am beyond excited to see what the next generation of leaders does for our community.

Just Dropped!!! There is a new Independent Theatre Contract!

According Erin Maureen Koster, Third Vice President (the Stage Manager VP!) at Actors' Equity Association, we won't see the first ITCs come to fruition for a few months, and any current contract Actor's are working under will not change.

AEA members can log in to their portal to read the details.

It's Election Day!

If you haven't yet cast your ballot, you have until 9pm this evening.

Don't forget to flip your ballot, to vote on the Ballot Proposals! LIT encourages you to vote YES on Proposal 1 (to add civil protections to the State's Bill of Rights), and NO on Proposals 2–6 (each of which would shift power away from the NYC Council, to the Mayor's office).
