Rules of Conduct
Welcome to the only OFFICIAL Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 28 page. This page will be used for members, non-members and all labor friendly like minded people to receive information that affects our trade specifically and organized labor in general. For our members, information passed along will not be used as a substitute for official notices from the Union, but may serve as

a supplement. If ever you have questions or need information about Local 28, then please contact the General Office at 212-941-7700. Our hope is that this page will be used to build pride and solidarity within our union family and within other building trades families. We reserve the right to remove any content that we deem inappropriate without notice. Inappropriate content includes but is not limited to: profanity; promoting or suggesting illegal activity; threatening behavior; campaigning for internal elected union offices; derogatory comments or personal attacks about union officers, office staff, affiliated contractors, and/or members; and advertising or solicitations. Who says union events can’t be fun?

Saturday’s Toy Drop-Off Comedy Show brought the laughs and the heart.
Big shoutout to Brian & Dante from Comedy Village for absolutely crushing it, and to Zaremba for stepping up and supporting a great cause.

Good food. Big laughs. Toys for kids who need them.
That’s what happens when members stay active and get involved.

New shop. New crew. You walked up, shook hands, showed your card, and introduced yourself as a dues-paying member of Local 28.

It wasn’t disrespect — it was how we knew who was standing next to us.
It kept the crew tight, the culture strong, and the job moving.

We’re bringing that tradition back.
If you’re 28, then show your card on Day One.
Let your crew know you’re in good standing and ready to work.

This is how we look out for each other.
This is how we stay strong.

On December 7th, 1941, our nation changed forever.
Today, we honor the 2,403 lives lost at Pearl Harbor and the generations who answered the call to defend our freedom.

As Building Trades Sheet Metal Workers, we stand on the shoulders of those who built, fought, and sacrificed so we can work, live, and raise our families in a stronger country.

We remember. We honor. We never forget.
