Barge Park Pals

Barge Park Pals Barge Park Pals was founded in response to the overall environmental degredation and city neglect of N. Greenpoint parks. Greenpoint area.

The organization ran softball tournaments throughout the mid 1990's and early 200's unitl local merchants could no longer assist the organization by providing toilet access for park users. Barge Park Pals then focused on getting a parkhouse with toilet built and participating in numerous parks & open space issues and projects in the N.

Since December 2018 people on Huron, Green and Freeman St have been experiencing gasoline like vapors strong enough to nauseate.Community members are organizing to get agency officials motivated to identify the source.
