In contemporary society, specialized design professions, compartmentalized into disparate fields, are required to integrate and collaborate steadily, but provisionally, to resolve new types of design challenges in the public realm and everyday life. This phenomenon of unstable specialization in design transforms traditional ways of design process, product and its socio-cultural impact. Unstable sp

ecialization, the collaboration among the compartmentalized specialization in fluid and radical society, reflects upon and takes into account the meaning, idiosyncrasies and boundaries of such ways of design. The instability is a creative force that is essential to the continuous re-ordering of the socio-cultural, political and economical relations of design. Instead of providing an orderly, homogeneous worldview, I:M presents inconsistent, heterogeneous, manifold and non-linear perspectives.
