🌱 Reconnect NYC | Summer Cohort 2026 ☀️

This summer, our young men showed us what growth looks like — not just in the garden, but in themselves.

From planting and harvesting in our community garden 🌿 to learning about discipline, drive, and professionalism through programming with our dedicated volunteer, Jose Veliz, every experience was an opportunity to build confidence, character, and purpose.

🕯️ We also began creating our new fall scent for Reconnect Candle Company, putting creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurship into practice.

🥣 And we gave back to our community by volunteering at a local soup kitchen, helping prepare and serve meals to neighbors in need.

This summer was about more than staying busy. It was about showing up, putting in the work, serving others, and preparing for the future.

We’re proud of everything our young men accomplished this summer — and we’re just getting started. 💪🏽
