We recognize that many communities suffer economically, and have a lack of support coming from the educational system specifically to the Art Community. It enhances self-esteem and offers a positive alternative in which to spend your time. In a confusing world, the Arts may not be able to provide all the answers but can offer a moral compass and, at the very least, comfort us in knowing we are not
alone in our thoughts and concerns. In whole, a strong artistic culture brings a community together. We plan to go a step further by reaching out to the community. Among others, planning volunteer efforts to beautify parks and clean up neighborhoods; promoting literacy with reading programs for kids and young adults; visiting our treasured senior citizens and offering them a spark of entertainment. This company is founded and fueled by 4 dedicated artists who see the future being filled with hope, rather than more despair and hardship. We are focused on expanding all the positives in this great community called the Bronx and are striving to eliminate the negatives, such as, high drop out rates in schools and high unemployment rates. We feel, by providing sought after entertainment, we will open the doors to visitors from all over the globe and welcome them into the Bronx. So they can enjoy our treasured landmarks. Not only Yankee stadium and the Bronx Zoo but also our hidden gems, such as Arthur Ave, City Island, Orchard Beach, and Poe’s cottage, just to name a few. We will also help raise awareness of building a Hip Hop Hall of Fame in the Bronx where it belongs. As well as saving the legacy of our schools, so many of which are now being threatened with closing down. The core of our group is compiled with Bronx bred residents. Who live and breathe this great borough. And who want it to receive the respect that it deserves. Because we truly feel the Bronx is the greatest place to live. We can’t avoid the challenges we face any longer. And through the power of performing arts we will do our part to meet the challenges head on. This is more than just putting on a few shows throughout the year. It is about building a community for generations to come.
