Sistas and Brothas United (SBU) is a youth led organization that develops the leadership of the young people in our schools and communities to work on educational justice issues in the context of racial and economic justice. We are intentional about developing young people to think critically and independently about the current socio-economic and political landscape and develop strategies to bring

justice to their communities. Through a series of political education workshops, community organizing and skills building trainings, and intense campaign work, our young people are in the forefront of the educational justice movement locally, city-wide, and nationally.
