Dear New England/Northeast Table Tennis Community,
I hope this message finds you well and getting plenty of time at the table.
I’m reaching out personally — not just as a fellow player, but as a long-time volunteer with AYTTO (American Youth Table Tennis Organization) — to warmly invite you to join us for something truly meaningful:
🏓 AYTTO Lunar New Year Fundraiser
2-Person Teams Ping Pong Challenge 2026
đź“… March 7th, 2026 (Saturday)
⏰ 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📍 Malden High School, Malden, MA
This event is open to players of all ages and skill levels. Bring a partner — a friend, family member, clubmate — or team up and make a new connection. It will be a full day of spirited competition, community energy, and celebration (yes, light lunch and pizza included!).
But beyond the matches, this tournament has a deeper purpose.
Every registration and every donation supports AYTTO’s mission to expand youth table tennis programs — especially in underserved urban communities. The funds raised help provide:
• Free and low-cost after-school table tennis programs
• Equipment and coaching support for schools
• Scholastic league expansion
• Coach training and certification
• Access and opportunity for students who otherwise would not have it
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of volunteering with AYTTO and witnessing firsthand how powerful this sport can be. Table tennis builds confidence, resilience, discipline, and community. It gives young people a safe place to grow, compete, and belong.
When our local ping pong community shows up, we make a real difference.
If you’ve ever benefited from this sport — from friendship, mentorship, or simply the joy of competition — this is a wonderful opportunity to give back.
Let’s celebrate the Lunar New Year by rallying for something bigger than ourselves.
