Uranus ~ the Great Awakener ~ the one who shocks with sudden, unexpected disruptions ~ the one who shakes the snow globe every time the flakes have been settled for what is deemed to be "too long" ~ makes his ingress into Gemini at 8:50 p.m. ET on April 25, 2026, where he will stay for the next 7 years.

Uranus is change, rebellion, revolution, innovation, eureka moments, breakthroughs, liberation, and the unexpected.

Gemini is communication, curiosity, versatility, learning, connections, and The Mind.

Uranus in Gemini brings lightning to the mind with the potential to bestow ideas that can shock but also change and liberate the world.

At 11:21 p.m. ET, Mercury enters the zodiac sign of Aries, joining the lineup of planets already transiting Aries ~ including the Sun, Saturn, Mars, and Neptune.

Mercury in Aries is a high-energy, direct, sometimes impatient or impulsive Mercury who may prompt us to speak our minds, act decisively, and — with our sights set on our goals — focus our thinking on the future and how we will achieve our heart's desires.

After transiting the sign of Pisces, where thinking may have been foggy and where indecisiveness may have reigned supreme, Mercury in Aries brings renewed vitality to our communications and mental processing.

However, driven by Aries competitive and fast-moving energy, along with the Aries desire to be first at coming up with ideas and solutions, we may be at risk of making rash decisions or having knee-jerk reactions to whatever comes our way.

Additionally, we may have a shorter fuse and less of a filter than normal, resulting in harsh words tumbling out of our mouths before we have time to catch them.

At 1:30 a.m. ET on April 13, Mars conjoins Neptune in the sign of Aries.

Mars is drive and ambition. The planet that governs the pursuit of our goals with fervor and passion.

Mars can also be competitive and combative ~ which are great qualities to tap into when playing sports or needing to defend ourselves, but which may be challenging energies to manage when the hot-headed, reactionary, and impulsive side of Mars rears his head.

Neptune is illusion and delusion. Fog. Mist. Fantasy. Confusion. Not seeing clearly.

As these energies meet up in the sky in Mars' home sign of Aries, you may experience cloudiness or confusion about your personal goals, desires, and ambitions. The day-to-day grind and worn-out routines may not be enough to maintain your interest, prompting you to potentially stir up drama or conflict simply to satisfy your need for stimulation.

Alternately, the energy of this conjunction may be experienced as an uptick in your desire to help and tend to the needs of others, but others may, in turn, take advantage of your Neptunian compassion and goodwill. Protect your boundaries and avoid becoming drained.

On the upside, creative projects may be favored during this transit, as Neptune will provide a healthy dose of imagination and Mars will give the spark to get things started. Spiritual pursuits are similarly supported.

In this lecture, Alejo will explore how gender may have a strong, yet unrecognized, influence in our craft and we will reflect together if there is something we can do about it. .

At 11:30 p.m. ET on March 10, 2026, Jupiter stations direct at 15⁰05' Cancer.

The Great Benefic, the planet of abundance and growth, has been retrograde since Nov. 11, 2025.

Jupiter embodies enthusiasm and optimism, and as he changes direction and resumes forward motion, we may find ourselves feeling more hopeful in the weeks ahead. This may be especially true as it relates to the Cancerian things in our lives ~ our homes, our families, our roots and our traditions.

Jupiter also governs our belief systems.
His about-face may bring a resurgence of confidence in ourselves, our beliefs, and our spiritual connection.

Additionally, in his quest for expansion, Jupiter returning to direct motion in Cancer may amplify themes and prompt emotional breakthroughs related to emotional security and nurturing (both of others and of ourselves). As he gains momentum in the weeks ahead, we may discover lucky breaks and smoother sailing in things we've been inwardly reviewing and trying to sort out since early November.

NCGR-NYC is celebrating International Astrology Day (IAD) on March 27 at 7 p.m. Eastern.

This year, we are delighted to welcome Alejo López, who will present Gender and Power in Astrological Practice.

Gender is a loaded concept.
As such, it carries power.
How is this power dynamic played out in our interpretations and in our relationships with our clients?
