This past weekend, Nagi Alsubai, Founder of Peer Minds, attended the American Middle Eastern and North African Psychological Association (AMENA-Psy) Conference in Washington, DC.

We are especially excited to continue building a relationship with AMENA-Psy as we work toward stronger connections and support within MENA mental health spaces.

Thank you to AMENA-Psy, Mental Health America, and the American Psychological Association for their presence, resources, and support.

And a special shoutout to the young MENA professionals stepping into this work and helping shape what comes next. We are excited to see this community continue to grow.

What started as a simple conversation turned into something much bigger.

Mindful Men Circle began as a short series — just a space to talk, reflect, and show up honestly. But week after week, it became clear that this wasn’t something temporary…it was something we needed to keep going.

Now, it’s officially an ongoing program.

A space for men to be real, to grow, and to support each other through everything we don’t usually talk about.

Mental health advocacy doesn’t stop at borders.

Peer Minds was honored to be invited as a guest speaker at a recent fundraiser hosted by , raising support for communities facing hardship in , Yemen, Pakistan, and Iraq.

Events like this remind us that mental health and humanitarian work must go hand in hand — especially for communities navigating conflict, displacement, and trauma.
