Most men don’t talk about abuse.
Not because it didn’t happen…
but because they learned how to function through it.

They became guarded.
Controlled.
Hard to read.

But that version of them didn’t come from nowhere.

It was learned.
It was shaped.
And it can be understood.

This month’s Mindful Men Educational Session goes deeper than conversation.

“Guarded Man, Wounded Boy”
A guided discussion on abuse — how it shows up, how it impacts us, and how men carry it into adulthood.

🧠 Led by Dr. Omar Shareef
You’re not just showing up to talk —
you’re gaining language, insight, and understanding most men were never taught.

🗓️ Thursday, April 30th
🕖 7PM EST
📍 Virtual

If you’ve ever wondered why you are the way you are…
this session will start answering that.

What started as a simple conversation turned into something much bigger.

Mindful Men Circle began as a short series — just a space to talk, reflect, and show up honestly. But week after week, it became clear that this wasn’t something temporary…it was something we needed to keep going.

Now, it’s officially an ongoing program.

A space for men to be real, to grow, and to support each other through everything we don’t usually talk about.

If you’ve been looking for something like this — or know someone who needs it — this is your sign to join us. 🤝

📅 Starting this Thurs, April 2nd, 2026

Mental health advocacy doesn’t stop at borders.

Peer Minds was honored to be invited as a guest speaker at a recent fundraiser hosted by , raising support for communities facing hardship in , Yemen, Pakistan, and Iraq.

Events like this remind us that mental health and humanitarian work must go hand in hand — especially for communities navigating conflict, displacement, and trauma.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share the mission of Peer Minds and to connect with organizations committed to expanding support for MENA and South Asian communities around the world.
