Band of Parents is a grassroots nonprofit that funds research to find a cure for neuroblastoma.

Band of Parents is a grassroots, nonprofit organization that funds innovative research and clinical trials for neuroblastoma, helping increase the survival rate for this childhood cancer. We are a support network for the newly diagnosed and their families as they go through treatment. Our goal as parents is to fast track a cure using less toxic, targeted therapies. Since the Band of Parents was fo

unded in 2007, we have raised more than $6 million dollars for neuroblastoma research. We have funded two lifesaving treatments that are now front line protocol at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center: Hu3f8 (humanized antibody) and the neuroblastoma vaccine.

Because of this community, more than $1.25 million in new neuroblastoma research funding is now in motion supporting the science that gives children and families more time and more options

But our work isn’t finished and we don’t plan on stopping

Since our spring events, we’ve lost three children. Even one is too many. Their stories continue to fuel our mission and remind us why we refuse to stop until every child has a chance.
