SPAA Art Exhibit 2025 Colors of New York Printmaking Workshop by Marcelino Rodriguez with DCG Adrian Cruz and staff at the Philippine Center, NYC

It was rainy outside, but warm spirits and colors inside the Philippine Center for SPAA’s exhibit, “Colors of New York.”

The exhibit will be up from October 13th to 24th, and features 25 of our member artists’ vibrant works of different media.

SPAA was honored to recieve opening remarks by Deputy Council General Adrian Cruz, and musical entertainment by Mayo Landicho and Evita Cruz.

Special thanks to our SPAA exhibit committee Marcelino Rodriguez (SPAA President), Athena Magcase-Lopez, and Ronald Cortez.

Thank you also to Bono Albania, Ameurfina H Nazario, Susan Angeles, Thea David, Carol Tanjutco, Ann Constantino Beck, Carlos Esguerra and Cheryle Cranbourne for helping to make the exhibit a success.

Del-Bourree Bach: Beautiful balance of subject matter, great viewpoint, and mastery of the medium. Bravo!

Antonio Lones: There are pieces that immediately catch your attention. This is one of them. With a masterful handling of the medium, the artist was able to capture with a delicate balance of good composition, color harmonies, variation of textures, and an unusual setup. A great piece that deserves admiration.
