As part of our ongoing celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Copyright Act, the Journal of the Copyright Society has partnered with The George Washington University Law School for “The Future of the Copyright Act Symposium” happening Oct 2-3 in Washington, DC and virtually.

The following list of scholars will be examining what the next era of copyright law should look like. Opening remarks will be given by the Register of Copyrights and Director of the U.S. Copyright Office, Shira Perlmutter. All papers and commentary will be published in the Journal of the Copyright Society.
