🚨 Bronx small businesses: Apply for a grant of up to $20,000!

Optimum Business and the Bronx Chamber of Commerce are proud to bring $145,000 in grants to support small businesses in the Bronx through the Lifting Up Small Businesses in The Bronx program. The program will award 25 eligible local businesses with a $5,000 grant and one business with a $20,000 grand prize grant to support their growth and long-term success.

To qualify, businesses must:

✅ Have a brick-and-mortar business or office location in a community served by Optimum
✅ Employ 10 or fewer people
✅ Have been open for at least one year
✅ Be willing to participate in promotional materials
✅ Explain how the grant will help grow the business and positively impact the community

Applications are due September 1, 2026.

Our Annual Summer BBQ brought together Bronx business leaders, community partners, and friends for an unforgettable evening of great food, meaningful connections, and incredible live music from Arturo Ortiz & Grupo 8!

Today, we proudly celebrated the graduation of Cohort 4, our final Bronx Chamber AI Advantage cohort!

Congratulations to our incredible graduates, who completed an intensive program focused on using AI to streamline operations, strengthen marketing, save valuable time, and create new opportunities for business growth.

A special thank you to our outstanding instructors, Ashonda from P I G G Y , George Nunez from bronxtechhub , and Ashley Scott from Ashley | Data & AI Educator | TEDx Speaker , for sharing their knowledge, experience, and guidance with our entrepreneurs.

Last week, we were proud to partner with Council Member Althea Stevens for Rock the Block, a celebration of Bronx small businesses, local entrepreneurs, and community.

The event brought the neighborhood together to shop from amazing local vendors, enjoy great music from a live DJ, and celebrate the incredible businesses that help make the Bronx thrive. It was an afternoon full of energy, connection, and Bronx pride.
