Thanks to everyone who came out for Kreyol Connection and helped us celebrate Haitian Heritage Month with so much joy and pride! 🇭🇹✨

Shoutout to Haiti Cultural Exchange for welcoming us into their beautiful new home, Ti Kay HCX.

We loved seeing longtime friends of the Haitian Roundtable alongside newer supporters, all coming together in community.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Michèle Voltaire Marcelin — a visionary artist, poet, actress, and cherished member of our community.

An esteemed 1804 List inductee, Michèle’s work reflected the depth, beauty, and complexity of Haitian culture and identity. Through her creativity, intellect, and presence, she inspired generations and helped expand the global appreciation of Haitian artistry and storytelling.

Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched, the art she created, and the cultural path she helped shape.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, loved ones, and all those mourning this tremendous loss.

May she rest in power and eternal peace. 🕊️🇭🇹

We are heartbroken by the passing of Coral Springs Vice Mayor Nancy Metayer, a cherished friend of The Haitian Roundtable. Nancy led with grace, purpose, and a deep commitment to her community, and her presence touched so many lives. 

We send our love and deepest condolences to her family, loved ones, colleagues, and all who are mourning this tremendous loss. We will remember Nancy with great respect, affection, and gratitude for the life she lived and the service she gave.
