Otwarcie wystawy z pracami Janusza Skowrona: FACES - SKETCHES FROM DREAMS (drawings & paintings), która miała miejsce w PIASA w ostatni czwartek 31 stycznia 2013 okazała się dużym sukcesem!
Na wystawę przybyło dużo gości. Wieczór przebiegał w wyjątkowej atmosferze. Przy lampce wina i doskonałej muzyce, którą zapewnił saksofonista Krzysztof Medyna, goście mogli podziwiać prace artysty. Wystawę można oglądać do 28 lutego, 2013 w siedzibie PIASA

26 Listopada 2012r. gościem Instytutu była Anne Applebaum. Tematem spotkania była prezentacja dwóch książek autorki: Iron Curtain: The Crushing of Eastern Europe 1944–1953 (a finalist for the 2012 National Book Award), and From a Polish Country House Kitchen.

Anne Applebaum is a columnist for The Washington Post and Slate and a visiting professor of International History in 2012-13 at the London School of Economics. Her previous book, Gulag: a History, won the Pulitzer Prize for non-fiction in 2004. Anne is married to Radek Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, and lives in London and Warsaw.
