We’re so excited to share something fun everyone can get involved in!

We knew we wanted to have meaningful Disability Pride designs added to our Born to Belong Collection… but we weren’t sure what the perfect design would be. And then we realized, we have an amazing network of creative and talented self-advocates!

We sent out a call for designs, and were wowed with the result. We received 17 amazing and unique designs, and narrowed it down to our top 3. Now, we need your help to pick our winner!

You can vote for your favorite at the link here: https://bit.ly/PCCSDesignContest

One winner will have their design featured in our Born to Belong Bonfire store for the month of July, and will also receive a $25 Visa Gift Card!

📰💙 📰 At PCCS Day Habilitation, we took part in a Good News Newspaper activity focused on positive stories. Each person chose a story that interested them, discussed it with peers, and created a poster page highlighting what stood out to them. The activity encouraged conversation, sharing different perspectives, and expressing personal interests through art and discussion. It was a meaningful way to stay connected to current events.

The odds were in Day Hab’s favor when playing some fun casino games! Even with fake money, they spun the wheel and hoped for the best of luck ♠️♥️

This past Friday was showtime!

People supported took the stage with Chance 2 Dance NYC and wowed their biggest crowd yet with an amazing routine. PCCS’ Day Habilitation staff were front and center, cheering them on every step of the way.

ATTENTION: Upcoming Changes on Essential Plan and Medicaid

We want to share information from the New York State Department of Health about upcoming changes to the Essential Plan and Medicaid. These changes are the result of a federal law passed in 2025 called H.R. 1.

What is changing?

- Essential Plan changes begin July 1, 2026. New York State has taken steps to help most people keep their coverage. However, some people may be affected by new eligibility rules and changes to their benefits.

- Medicaid changes begin January 1, 2027. These changes may affect who qualifies for Medicaid, what documents people need to provide, and whether they can stay enrolled in the program.

We encourage everyone to review the resources below and learn about these upcoming changes. Understanding these updates will help us stay informed and better support the people we serve who may be affected.
