Community Impact serves individuals in need in the communities of Upper Manhattan while providing meaningful volunteering and leadership opportunities for students at Columbia University and Barnard College.

Straight from serving 100 clients at the Ford Hall Food Pantry, we made it to Lerner Hall to welcome the new president on this very hot day!

Please join us in welcoming Columbia University’s new president, Jennifer L. Mnookin! We can’t wait to share more about our 45-year history with the president and keep building a stronger community together. 🙌

For 45 years, Community Impact has turned Columbia students into changemakers — 800+ volunteers a year delivering direct, hands-on services across Upper Manhattan. Tutoring. Legal aid. Health access. Food security. Senior support. All powered by students, sustained by people like you.

Our fiscal year closes tonight, and every gift we receive before midnight helps us start year 46 on solid ground.
