What if one afternoon in the murder capital of the world could change the lives of millions?

It did.

More than a decade ago, Wendy Diamond traveled to Honduras. One afternoon, she decided to volunteer at the Adelante Foundation.

She had no idea that a single afternoon would change the course of her life.

There, she met extraordinary women entrepreneurs with incredible ideas, resilience, and determination. They didn't need saving—they needed opportunity.

That experience became the inspiration for the Women's Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO)—a global movement that has since empowered women and girls across 144 countries.
