NAC Junior Board & Young Professionals

NAC Junior Board & Young Professionals Leading group of young professionals who use their networks to fundraise, advocate & volunteer in support of New Alternatives for Children's services in NY

The NAC Junior Board and Young Professionals are volunteer groups made up of young leaders that act as ambassadors of NAC's mission. NAC serves NYC's most vulnerable children - those who have experienced or are at risk of abuse and neglect, live in poverty, and have a profound disability or chronic illness. Members of the Junior Board and Young Professionals leverage their passion for NAC's missio

n to become long-term resources and use their personal and professional networks to fundraise, advocate, and volunteer in support of NAC’s vital services. Every member brings a unique talent to our group, and we welcome candidates who have a passion and commitment for NAC. Members are encouraged to think big about innovative solutions to aid the organization, create and coordinate fundraising and volunteer activities, and involve and mentor future candidates. Through these responsibilities, and close work with the Board of Directors, members develop leadership skills that enable them to advance their careers and become appreciating assets to NAC's families. NAC staff has had a blast honoring Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage month.

From Tuesday Tea to a Flushing Food Crawl, NAC staff has celebrated the wide diaspora and had a phenomenal time doing it! Thanks to our incredible staff who organized these events, and everyone who came together to learn and celebrate.
