Hello SOH! Every year One Health Day is celebrated across the globe, and New York City is no stranger to hosting a variety of events throughout the city. We have just been contacted by an events coordinator from the Animal Medical Center, a non-profit veterinary hospital on Manhattan's upper east side. They are hosting a One Health focused event on November 4th from 6:30-8:00pm, entitled "One Health Day: The Impact of DNA Testing on You, Your Pet, and Your World". They're going to have speakers from the medical, veterinary, and environmental sciences, including a genetic counselor from CUMC, Priyanka Ahimaz (MS, CGC).
