“Storytelling….is the way to help humanize, and help more people begin to understand. By listening, and being part of this, you are part of the change.”--Amy Gottlieb, HOTM Board Member & “Tara’s Crossing” Panelist

On June 8th, we proudly shared our 2004 play “Tara’s Crossing” as part of our 25th Anniversary Season. Together with HOTM friends and supporters, members of the Trans* and migrant advocacy communities, and members of the show’s original cast, we revisited this poignant tale of LGBTQ+ asylum and reflected on its long-term impact.

Huge thanks to our cast, team, and panelists, community partners The Le***an, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center and Refuge America, and to the audiences who help us keep timely and powerful stories alive!

Stay tuned for our next House Party readings, and support our 25th Anniversary Season at https://housesonthemoon.org/25th-anniversary-season/!
