Day 2 of NYCMC Wellspring Schools educator orientation was all about what it means to be an A-Player, someone who takes initiative, communicates well, solves problems, follows through, and puts students first.
We also dove into something every educator faces daily: decision-making.
Good decisions require us to pause, understand the situation, consider the impact, and choose the right course of action, not simply the easiest one.
From professional conduct and accountability to boundaries and student safety, this day was about equipping our educators with the tools, mindset, and judgment they need to lead their classrooms with excellence.
Because when our teachers grow, our students thrive.
A meaningful day of learning, connecting, and preparing for the year ahead.
