What a conference!

We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of our 2026 PMINYC Professional Development Conference: Elevate & Embark: Elevate your practice. Embark on what’s next. Thanks to you, we achieved an outstanding 93% attendance rate, but more importantly, we created something that can't be measured by numbers alone: a day filled with learning, inspiration, meaningful conversations, and new connections.

📣BREAKING NEWS!
The nomination period for the 2027 - 2028 PMINYC Board has been extended through August 3.

Five seats are still open, and there’s still time to put your name in or nominate someone
you think would be great.

The people who will lead this chapter next year are being decided now. If you’ve been
on the fence, this is your window.

Here are the roles:
- President - Leads the chapter and the Board. Sets the direction, coordinates the team,
and is ultimately accountable for how the chapter serves its members.
- VP - Administration & Operations- Keeps everything running. Records, minutes,
governance, meeting coordination, and the chapter’s official Secretary under New York
law.
- VP - Membership - Owns the member experience from first event to long-term
engagement. Recruitment, retention, volunteering, mentoring, and making sure people feel they belong.
- VP - Professional Development - Builds the programs that help members grow. Study
groups, workshops, certification support, and partnerships with training providers.
- VP - Strategy & Internal Consulting - The strategic lens. Supports the President with
planning, leads the data team, provides internal consulting across departments, and
keeps the chapter aligned with its long-term goals.
