New York Actor and Wardrobe Friends, Theatre Askew is searching for a performer to live within the world of our show as a "stagehand" (La MaMa acting credit!) And two wardrobe crew members to help with quick changes, steam/iron between shows, and laundry once a week.

"Horseplay: or, The Fickle Mistress" opens February 16th at La MaMa in the Ellen Stewart. Runs till March 1.

What Matters Now: An LGBTQ Youth Summit aims to engage Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Gender Nonconforming, and Q***r youth from all over NYC in a day of skills building, community organizing and resource sharing. The summit will offer a variety of workshops that will cover topics that will assist LGBTQ youth in advocating for and developing safe spaces in their communities.

Free lunch and metro cards will be provided to those who attend the Summit. Keynote speakers will be announced in coming weeks. The summit is hosted in partnership with the Office of New York City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito & the LGBT Caucus of the NYC Council.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the 2014-2015 TAYPE participants.
