of Small Business Services, through Union Settlement, to develop, and launch commercial revitalization projects in East Harlem, in partnership with local stakeholders. of Small Business Services has funded the Business Development Center of Union Settlement with a multi-year grant supporting programs of assistance to small businesses in East Harlem. Working directly with these merchants, the Busin

ess Development Center facilitates workshops, supports beautification & greenery efforts, and assists strugling merchants by conducting activities to increase sales and profits. These initiatives include: district marketing campaigns; enhanced street cleaning; installation and maintenance of corridor greenery; one-on-one merchant assistance, and financial aid.
