Many Orchard Beach Lg's ran the NYC Marathon over the years and congrats to all who survived. But, to the best of my knowledge, (correct me if I'm wrong) one O.B. Lg survived the winter 50 years ago on the Great Lakes, Wild Bill Cody.

The Edmund Fitzgerald sank on Lake Superior Nov. 10, 1975, and killed all 29 men aboard. It's a modern maritime tragedy that has echoed for decades.
