March For Our Lives is currently looking for young, experienced, and diverse organizers to fill our new State Director positions. This position oversees the field program in each state, mentors and coaches local chapters, and helps execute national initiatives. This is an unpaid role, but we will pair with a training program this summer, which will provide immense organizing experience as State Directors will be overseeing a massive program.

We really want to broaden our team and include people from different organizing and background experiences! I hope you can circulate this opportunity around to anyone you know who may be interested.

Silberman MSWSN are excited to pass the torch to new leaders and organizers. The bonds we’ve built in this group are strong and we hope students at Silberman interested in organizing and macro social work will get as much out of this group membership as we have. Please join us on Monday, April 24th at 7PM to learn how you can elevate macro social work practice, organize within Silberman, and build community and friendships with fellow macro students. The Legislative Education and Advocacy Day or LEAD is an opportunity for Social Work Students to experience the legislative process through the canvassing for two NASW causes: Banning Conversion therapy and the Social Workers Investment Initiative . AYYYE WE DID IT! Still reeling from yesterday. Seeing all of our ideas, hard work, and commitment come to full fruition yesterday was so gratifying. What was even better was getting to organize, share knowledge, and laugh (a lot) with these beautiful people for the past couple months. Not pictured are the incredible organizers , , and Julian, as well as the kick ass volunteers who helped us yesterday. So proud and lucky to call these folks colleagues and friends! 😊💓🌟
